How It’s Done
patient wears a bra or bathing suit, ensuring the resultant scar is hidden. A horizontal incision is then made across the back, right on the bra line. The excessive skin and fat are excised, and the remaining skin is sutured together, creating a tighter, smoother appearance.
Adjacent liposuction can be employed to fine-tune the contour and ensure a seamless transition between the treated and untreated areas. The strategic placement of the incision ensures scars remain discreet and easily concealed by typical undergarments or swimwear.
After the excess tissue is removed, the remaining skin on either side of the incision is pulled taut and sutured together. This creates the lifted and tightened effect on the back. The sutures can be either dissolvable or may need removal at a later post-operative appointment.
Who is a Good Candidate?
Candidates for a Bra Line Back Lift are typically those who:

- Seek to eliminate excess, sagging skin in the upper and mid-back regions.
- Have sustained a consistent weight for a minimum of six months.
- Have skin elasticity compromised due to age, significant weight fluctuations, or genetics.
- Uphold realistic expectations of the surgical outcome.
