Dermal fillers are smooth injectable gels that restore lost volume, help smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial contours. Dissolver
Hylenex is a dissolver that works against hyaluronic acid, which is the main component of dermal fillers. Multiple sessions may be needed. Some of the reasons to dissolve may include visible lumps/bumps, migration, having a clean canvas to work with.

Dermal Filler Aftercare
- Redness or sensitivity may be present and can last up to a few hours.
- Bruising may be present, last up to several days and can appear as blueish/purplish discoloration. If you notice any paleness in the area, contact your provider immediately.
- Use Tylenol for any soreness.
- Avoid significant movement or massaging in the treated area unless instructed by your provider.
- Wait at least two weeks before having any other facial treatments (ex. facials, massages, lasers).
- Avoid makeup, strenuous exercise, extensive sun or heat for 24 hours.
- Postpone any dental procedures for at least two weeks after treatment.
- Results are immediate and may last up to 6-12 months, or even longer!
